Setelah Pemakaian  1000x pakai maka printer perlu secara langsung Meminta Untuk di Cleaning dengan lampu LED Cleaning pada panel menyala berkedip-kedip seperti gambar dibawah ini :

“Jika tidak dilakukan Pembersihan, maka printer tidak bisa  bekerja untuk mencetak Kartu.”

Langkah – Langkah Untuk  melakukan Pembersihan Rutin ( Routine Cleaning) :

• Pertama buka penutup printhead Terlebih dahulu,
• Lalu keluarkan pita atau ribbon,
• Tutup  kembali penutup printhead hingga berbunyi “klik”,
• Buka tempat kartu,
• Geser filter ketebalan kartu ke arah posisi MAX,
• Ambil kartu  yang masih ada di dalam di usahakan menkosongkan Kartu Id card terlebih dahulu,
• Tekan 2x tombol power pada printer evolis primacy sebelum memasukan kartu pembersih,
• Lepaskan Penyegel stiker yang menempel pada kartu cleaning kit yang berbentuk pendek lalu letakan ke tempat kartu dengan permukaan yang lengket menghadap ke atas.
• Setelah selesai kartu cleaning kit nya beroperasi untuk membersikan tinta-tinta yang ada di mesin printer evolis primacy,
• setelah proses cleaning kit nya selesai barulah kembalikan lagi posisi filter ketebalan kartu yang sebelum nya ke maximal  , geser kembali ke tempat awal sesuai ketebalan kartu itu Sendiri.

Alangkah di anjurkan nya untuk proses cleaning kit  pada printer evolis lebih baik ketika pergantian Ribbon yang baru ,  agar supaya printer evolisnya  lebih tahan lama dan awet.

End of life of Pebble4, Dualys3, QB10 and Tattoo2 printers

Commercialization of the spare parts will cease on the 31st December 2018

Dear Partner,

Pebble4, Dualys3, QB10 and Tattoo2 printers have been withdrawn from the market for several years now, and we therefore inform you their spare parts are also going to be withdrawn.

Their commercialization will officially cease on the 31st December 2018. However, they can be ordered up to this date. From the 1st of January 2019, we will not be able to provide you with any spare parts matching these printers. Evolis will not ensure the reparations from this date (RMA process).

The updated price lists and all marketing elements will be available on our Partners’ website on the same date.

It is important that you inform all your customers (resellers’ network, direct users customers, etc).

We also encourage you to propose to them our Trade In Trade-up program, so they can replace their old faulty printer by a new generation model at a very attractive price.

3 New Features available now on Primacy

Evolis is pleased to announce the availability of three new features which will further enhance its flagship printer to keep momentum in the card printer market.

1. Electro-mechanical locking system to secure the card issuance process

Primacy features an electro-mechanical locking system which prevents the printer from being opened by unauthorized personnel in localized issuance of secure cards. This system secures the access points of the printer:

• Blank card stock
• Rejected cards
• Ribbon
• Maintenance door

It is also fitted with opaque hoppers which guarantee that the cards are not visible from the outside.

While locking is done using the physical key, unlocking can also be done performed through a 3rd-Party application (thanks to the Evolis Premium SDK) or through the color touch screen display (by activating a PIN-code).

This new feature meets the market requirements for instant issuance of financial cards as well as any application requiring a secured issuance process.
This option is available upon request and validation of the Evolis project team.

2. Increased Monochrome Speed : up to 1,000 cards per hour

For users with high monochrome throughput requirements, Primacy printers are now fitted with a new rear-ejection mode (and a specific detachable-rear-output hopper) increasing the monochrome speed to up to 1,000 cards per hour.

This standard feature is available on every Primacy entering in production from end of May 2016.
To allow backward compatibility, the detachable output hopper can be purchased separately to be installed on any existing Primacy and upgraded to Evolis Premium Suite version 6.22.0.838 and Firmware version 1614 available from www.evolis.com beginnign of June.

3. Color Touch Screen Display

This new graphical interface is ideal for counter applications (transit, banking, loyalty, casinos). This unique feature allows instant notification and interaction with the printer for a best-in-class user experience.

Already available as a factory-mounted option or on-site upgrade, it can be combined with the electro-mechanical locking system from July 2016 upon request and validation by the Evolis project team.

A unique system for highly secured cards

For governmental applications (national IDs, driver’s licenses, etc.), or applications in corporate environments (access control badges, for example), selected card profiles require tamperproof security.

To support this requirement, Evolis has partnered with Italian company, Ixla, an expert in laser engraving technology, to design Core to be a powerful and multifeature card system.

Leveraging the assets of existing Evolis printers (Primacy for graphic and electrical personalization, and Securion for lamination), Core also benefits from a state-of-the-art laser module. It stands as the only system in today’s market to combine data encoding, double-sided dye sublimation printing in color, laser engraving and lamination.

All four features mentioned above can be enabled in a single pass. The underlying modules work together, taking performances and efficiency to new heights. The encoding module can support a variety of technologies: magnetic, contact smart cards and contactless cards.

Laser engraving for tamper-proof cards and badges

Laser engraving makes it possible to integrate highly secured items within cards and badges, such as text and microtext, ghost images, laser-protected graphics. This is achieved either by combining monochrome laser engraving and color printing (LPI^® process – Laser Protected Image*), or by altering the engraving angle so that several graphics can be featured on a card (CLI process – Changeable Laser Image). Such laser-enabled techniques aim at fighting card forgery.

Besides, to comply with all security requirements for producing cards and badges, Core offers a locking system that prevents access to the laser module and to the lamination films.
